So…Pattaya and Bangkok are two very different places. Some people love one or the other and hate one or the other. There are also people like myself, who love both places for their own personalities.
Pattaya Nightlife
Is night life better? No…but it’s not worse either. Pattaya’s nightlife is more in your face, more humid, sweaty, condensed, smashed-together in a much smaller land area.
Pattaya is considered by some in Bangkok to be sleazy, cheap, dirty, and nasty.
Many young Thais of university age come down to Pattaya from Bangkok on the weekends to “slum” it with the Pattaya locals and “dirty” foreigners.
It’s wild, it’s raunchy, and it’s fun as hell.
Bangkok Nightlife
Bangkok’s nightlife is different depending on what part of the city your in as well as even which soi you’re on.
It can be down and dirty, or it can be as upscale at it gets where the only women allowed in are models.
It’s very spread out and not as easy to hit many places in one night as Pattaya is.
How are Pattaya girls compared to Bangkok
Well, I mean…there are Thai women in Pattaya and there are Thai women in Bangkok.
The majority of the women you’ll find in bars and gogos in both cities are from Isaan, Northern Thailand.
So because of this, they’re very similar in looks, culture, and attitude.
In Bangkok there are a lot more women who are much more conservative and either are from there and are very much traditional Thai women, or they’re there going to school or working from another province and want nothing to do with the bar/club/party culture that’s more prevalent in Pattaya.
Believe me though, there are plenty of “traditional” Thai women in the corporate world or going to university who are very much into partying and getting a little wild.

Night life is good in both places.
the girls in both pattaya and bangkok look the same to me, short, brown eyes, tan skin, slim (at least most of them), black hair, with high lights, and a smile that makes your heart melt. and in both places they know how to party with your money, so don’t worry a bit.
The Girls are the same anywhere you go in Thailand, always smiling, friendly.It all depends what you looking for, if you just want them to spend time with you, Pattaya is the Place to be.Bangkok is getting to expensive lately!

night life in BKK is better. All Pattaya is at night is gogo bar + muay thai amateurs. BKK has better clubs and bars that locals and non-prostitutes go to. The morning however, I say Pattaya is better. You can go to the beach and rent boats for cheap (compared to other tourist beaches).
The main difference between Pattaya prostitutes and BKK ones is that Pattaya has more Lao girls and are more attractive to white tourists (dark skin, big lips, bigger breast). Most of the prostitutes in BKK are Lao also, but they also have ones that Asian clients prefer (bony, tall, light skin).
Reading between the lines, i would say you are looking for girls and bars.. Pattaya is by far the best.South Pattaya and the soi’s between beach rd and second st. further downsecond st Soi’s left and right have bars Soi 8 is a real eye opener lots of bars all open to the street lots of colour lots of noise. further north Soi 6 with its “curtain bars”.. what goes on behind the curtain? Go and find out
If your definition of nightlife is girlie bars (including bar beers and go go joints), then Pattaya is “better” coz that’s all Pattaya has to offer.
The supply of “girls of the night” in Pattaya is more in your face and thus more available. With a big supply comes downward pressure on prices, so you tend to get more for less in Pattaya.

The girls are abundant in both cities. Overall, Bangkok is a better bet as there is much more variety in terms of other things to do.
