Well…it’s been a long time coming for this trip report. No excuse except that I just added it. I was looking through some old pictures today and figured I had the free time to do it. Back story for this side trip is that I had a friend come over for his first LOS trip…he wanted to see Phuket, so I came with since I’d never been before either. Weird how Pattaya keeps such a hold on a person 😛 After a few days in Pattaya and after doing a little research on where to stay we booked a flight

Little Side Trip to Siem Reap, Cambodia

So right before Christmas I decided to go to Cambodia for a few days. I had bought a re-entry stamp about 2 months before, but still hadn’t used it yet. My 90 day extension was up in January, so I figured I’d take a small side trip to Cambodia. I didn’t really have anything planned except that I wanted to see . Didn’t really plan on doing any mongering, so I went for a package tour from a little travel shop on Soi 8 that puts together . The package I chose was a 3 day 2 night Siem Reap

Pattaya New Years 2011

Here’s a few pics from my New Years here in Pattaya. The original plan was to hit the beach with some friends, then make our way down before ending up at Bali Hai Pier. As usual when it comes to plans in Pattaya they never really work out like you want them. We did hit the beach and had some drinks. Next stop was in the New Simon Beer Bar Complex. Had a drink there then moved on down looking for another good place to stop. Walking Street was packed full and it was hard keeping track of everybody. I

What is ? According to wikipedia: Loi Krathong (or Loy Krathong) is a festival celebrated annually throughout Thailand and certain parts of Laos.
