Well…I would love to keep adding to TR #8 – March 18-April 1 2010, but unfortunately I “lost” my phone on my last night in Bangkok. I woke up after waaaay to many drinks (bottles of Moet and Grey Goose in Qbar to start the night) and couldn’t find my camera. Can’t remember what happened to it, but that’s how it goes sometimes. I lost about 20 pics I had ready for the site and losing them just took the sails out of me writing anything up about the trip. I still have lots of TR posts to do from

Pattaya Music Festival 2010

March 19-21, 2010 are the dates this year for the music festival. I was a bit indisposed last night, but Friday night Beach rd was shut down for walking only and the entire road was packed with people and stages. There are multiple stages along Beach road and at the end of Central rd. There’s even stages on either side of Central Festival mall. Traffic sucks, but if you like walking (squeezing) around on Beach rd and listening to music than you should have a blast tonight for the last night of the festival.

Bob’s BBQ Wagon Wheel Challenge

Bob’s BBQ in Pattaya is located on Soi LK Metro next door to Lolitas. Bob has a Wagon Wheel Burger Challenge. You have to eat the entire burger and fries in under 45 minutes to win the challenge. If you win the challenge you get half off the burger and your name and picture added to the Wagon Wheel Hall of Fame. If you eat it all in under 15 minutes you get your meal for free. Weeeeel…I tried it and failed miserably. I ended up eating about 2/3 of the burger and most of the fried within 15 minutes,

Patpong Scam

17 March, 2010 So a friend of mine have been to Patpong a few times and hit up the bars there. We usually go to shoot pool at the bar with the girls in pink and black. Forgive me if I can’t remember the name. We decide to check out one of the upstairs bars because we’d heard about how they try to scam you and we thought we knew better…we didn’t. I asked a guy where the donkey show was, he didn’t know, but could show us where the ping pong, lady with chicken, and lady with monkey shows
